Harry Potter Novel Connections (Part 4)

Many story connections exist between the Harry Potter books that sit at opposite ends of each other; i.e. books one and seven; books two and six; and books three and five. Finally, book four shares many connections with each pair of books. This post looks at book four in relation to books one and seven and then books two and six.

Wesley and his friends..

when Voldemort attempts to kill him in the Forbidden Forest.

Book Two, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

1. Moaning Myrtle is introduced.

2. Harry and Ron use Polyjuice Potion to turn into Crabbe and Goyle in order to interrogate
Mafloy about the Heir of Slytherin.

expressed by other students for this.

other students for this. However, this hostility ceases following the first task.

Book Six; Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

1. Moaning Myrtle makes her last appearance.

2. Crabbe and Goyle use Polyjuice Potion to turn into two eleven year old first year girls as
